Beta's Bio

The Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was installed at Montana State College on December 17, 1920 by Herbert D. Cashmore, Bryon Rouse, Leonard J. Neuman and John Wiley. Located in scenic Bozeman, MT only 90 minutes north of Yellowstone National Park, the Beta chapter is constantly finding new and creative ways to benefit its members, the university bands and the city of Bozeman.

In November of 2001, Just before its 81st Anniversary, the members of Beta traveled with the university marching band to the 75th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The chapter helped raise $250,000 for the trip and last year won the "Service Showcase Award" for those efforts. Most recently the Beta chapter was awarded one of the 2001-2003 biennium chapter leadership awards, and is anxious to represent the Midwest district this summer at the National Convention as a finalist for the William A. Scroggs founders trophy.
